Well just to add one more, my fuel gauge on my 2005 k1200s is now permanently stuck on empty.
At first, it would show empty every time I'd fill up the tank, then rise up after a few miles of riding. Maybe vibration from ride un-sticking it? I don't know.
Now it's just stuck on empty, and I refill at sometime after 150 miles on trip OD. Very annoying.
I'm usually pretty good at fixing things like this "redneck" style, so I'm going to try to put together a solution and repair for this. If I can figure it out, I'll post a thread with pictures and data. I figure I owe that much to 'yall for all the help I've taken from this site.
